The Work No One Notices
Good Morning.
The most valuable employee is often the one who prevents problems no one ever hears about.
Many workplaces are good at recognizing visible accomplishments. The presentation that went well. The deal that closed. The project that launched on time. What's harder to measure are the problems that never happened because someone anticipated them early, asked the right question, or quietly fixed an issue before it reached everyone else's desk. Some of the most important work in an organization leaves behind no evidence except the absence of a problem.
The paradox is that the better someone is at preventing problems, the less visible their contribution becomes. Success leaves behind evidence. Prevention often leaves behind nothing at all.
Have a great weekend.
Longevity
Every day in The Long Game (below), we look at one small piece of how we age: a question, a habit, a finding from the research. The Longevity Index is the bigger picture: a 4-minute personalized assessment across six science-backed pillars including nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, social connection, and purpose. You'll get a score, see where you're strong, and see where there's room. It's free, private, and built on peer-reviewed research.

One small thing for a longer life
Did You Know
Chronic stress may accelerate some of the same cellular changes associated with aging.
Researchers study telomeres, protective caps at the ends of chromosomes that naturally shorten over time. In a well-known study of mothers caring for chronically ill children, those experiencing the highest levels of long-term stress had shorter telomeres than researchers would have expected for their age.
Stress is unavoidable. Recovery is where we have more influence. Sleep, movement, and meaningful social connection don't eliminate stress, but they may help reduce some of its long-term effects.
Stress is one of the six factors that shape how well we age. The Worthyest Longevity Index measures all six in 4 minutes. Yours, personalized. Get your score →

The Other Version of the Story
A surprising amount of maturity is recognizing that two people can experience the same event differently.
Many disagreements aren't really about what happened. They're about how it was experienced. Two people can sit through the same meeting, have the same conversation, or live through the same moment and walk away with completely different impressions. Part of maturity is recognizing that a different perspective isn't always a mistaken one. Sometimes it's simply the view from the other side of the room.
Pass It On
Sometimes a thought, an idea, or a perspective connects at just the right time. If something here feels like it might resonate with someone you know, share it with them.
